Full Node Update — 5th January
As part of our ongoing efforts to support and onboard new Full Node Operators to Testnet, our team of recently selected “Node Gods” attended a call with members of our blockchain team, to gain valuable insights and information to help expedite the onboarding process.
During the call, they learned about the latest updates to both the Testnet and Mainnet infrastructure and specifications, as well as best practices for running and maintaining nodes. They also had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from the team directly. Our Node Gods will help facilitate onboarding and supporting Node Operators onto the network.
One of the key things emphasized was the importance of individuals being responsible for their own node. Learning how to set up a node yourself is empowering and will help you maintain and secure your node. You should be the only person with access to your server.
NOTE: Our Verified Discord Node Gods will NEVER ask for your server credentials.
Currently, there are over 200 Full Node Operators that our team have been able to educate and have positioned ready for Testnet. In the coming days, we’ll begin Phase 2 of the Testnet onboarding process. We are confident that the information and resources provided by the blockchain team during our recent call will help ensure a successful onboard. We are excited to welcome these new Full Node Operators and support them as they contribute to the growth and stability of Testnet.

If you wish to participate in Testnet, please follow these steps for a more seamless experience:
(Testnet is voluntary, but a fantastic way to build your skills and understandings of server requirements)
Phase 1
- Set up your server
Phase 2
- Have a name for your node
- Have access to your node software generated wallet address
- Have access to your virtual machine public IP address
