On the heels of our explosive growth over the past 10 months, I am thrilled to share some exciting new developments!

What’s in a Name? Fire & Forge!

Vulcan, the god of fire & forge, and the name of our new layer 1 blockchain! This name change is intended to create a clear distinction between the previous protocol and the new blockchain technology being built. The new name, Vulcan, will better reflect the capabilities of our blockchain, and highlight our unique marketing features such as the ‘Fire Pit’ and our ‘Auto-Rebasing and Compounding’ mechanism. These features will be critical to the network’s success and sustainability, and we want our name to reflect this. We are genuinely forging DeFi, and our place in history!!

OOXY Labs — Registered Corporate Entity

We are pleased to announce the creation of our new Dev Co — OOXY Labs. OOXY was co-founded by key members of SafuuX and In10tion, a creative digital agency based in Melbourne with over ten years of extensive crypto and blockchain experience. The team at In10tion, who has been integral in supplying digital services, saw the incredible opportunity in the technology and wishes to support the expansive growth in the future.

Coming together to form OOXY Labs will allow us to allocate more resources to capitalize on all current leads, explosive growth and development of proposals and opportunities. The formation of OOXY Labs will attract even more partnerships with traditional investors and corporations in the future as we seek to be compliant with regulatory frameworks.

Funded by a foundation allocation of coins, and led by a board committee of experienced blockchain professionals, OOXY Labs will serve as a development company and be separate from the Vulcan Network, which belongs to the community.

The mission of OOXY Labs will be to continue developing and supporting decentralized protocol technologies on the Vulcan Blockchain whilst expanding reach and scope.

Decentralized Finance has the potential to revolutionize many industries and improve people’s lives and, with the creation of OOXY Labs, we are taking a significant step forward in realizing this potential.
